My path to entrepreneurship began as a stay-at-home wife, sharing my life with the person who had been my longtime crush, even through my past long-term relationship. However, this chapter wasn’t without its challenges, including fertility struggles as we sought to expand our family. We persevered, eventually tying the knot, and within three years, we welcomed two horribly-behaved precious additions to our family. We all share the same name initials!

This transformative period coincided with the global pandemic, a time when many were reevaluating their career paths and exploring entrepreneurial endeavors. Drawing on my background in corporate roles, where I had previously worked in the intricate landscape of Medicare, I recognized my innate ability to navigate complex systems.

My journey into the digital realm began long before the internet became ubiquitous. As a child, I was the go-to tech guru within my personal network, honing my skills by teaching myself the art of manually coding the different languages and website building. I also assumed the role of the designated business writer for the adults in my network, further cultivating my talent for processes and documentation.

These diverse skills converged, leading me to discover my passion for business digital development and the empowerment of the female entrepreneur. I’ve always had the ability to quickly grasp new digital concepts online, and this, combined with my deep-seated experience in supporting business functions, culminated in the birth of my consultancy, Cheniece Patrick OBM.

Today, I’m not just a business founder; I’m a catalyst for transformation.
